DD Coordinator's Report - Sandra Butts
A. Applications
P service $ 2004 got in; reviewing next 3-4 weeks and making
recommendations. 2004 Questions:

over per finance committee - have no final 2004 position

2003 deficits - loss in staff 12-14 in DD area and resource
center

1. 11 people have concerns for availability
2. Mary Mitchell and Becky Peer all striving to clear this
3. David Walters (Harthside) was his focus and now lost him
to physical disabilities
and there will be new names and faces helping.
4. Guardian meeting went well, everyone doing well with guardian
response - anticipated concerns
with guardians but no concerns thanks to
Providers
5. All have support systems except for (1).
6. As we move people - stay on top of situations that may arise
with the change and move.
7. Mary and Becky follow ups support collaborative from health/only
med perspectives
8. Aware of psychiatric eval. Problems: trying to push with
the state: will announce
a meeting to discuss this.
9. Good/Positive feedback for the whole system.
G. RFP for CBRF and 3-4 bed 2 week November will have letter
coming out.

E. Multicultural
Affairs Committee - Gene Hughs
1. Reviewing
surveys and program directories; decided to utilize current
resources instead of providers (ARCH) due to lack of response
2. Disbanded
committee/resolved unless needed later - may not be a need due
to outside resources
3. Focused
on clients' ethnicity, staff ethnicity, male in female dominated
staff and other important issues all face day to day. Efforts
well thought about, however pass 7203 W. Center to (ARC)
774-6255
F. Disaster
Plan - Linda W.G. Mason - Cheri Esser: Perry Mueller will
again meet and request all interested sign in and will notify
you for a meeting
G. Transportation
Subcommittee - Cheri Esser
1. Trying
to find out more on why Transit/Lailaw switch - member states
budget approved for larger contracted area etc.
2. How
we've attempted to be heard, no response, will attend Advisory
Committee Meetings and at least submit minutes
3. Complaint/recognition
forms with minutes fax and use them; please fax them to HealthSpan
INC for documentation as well
